This short video gives a flavour of the convening which SCI held several months ago in South Africa bringing together the SCI fellows network and those involved in its migration mentoring scheme. During the event the participants learnt about the current situation in South Africa and met with a range of local social justice activists who are working to build a fairer society. The convening also provided an opportunity to exchange ideas and build a stronger global activist community for learning, solidarity and collaboration. The convening coincided with “Activism that Works” a roundtable discussion organized by SCI in conjunction with the Global Citizens Circle. About 120 people attended this event including Archbishop Tutu and his wife Leah.
